Monster Adventure

Parents in Action is one of the most famous Croatian non-governmental organizations. Roda has been advocating for the rights of parents and children in the Republic of Croatia for twenty years through the volunteer and professional work of about two hundred of its members.

For the projects of the Roda Association, we made a retro game reminiscent of the earliest RPGs like Zelda or Pokemon, and it is essentially an adventure in which children learn about
various educational topics by playing the main character Janko Plavko through a series of tasks. The first level of the game is designed to teach children the rules of the road for the “Brake!” Project.

We subsequently added a second level that teaches children the importance of volunteering and participating in their community for the “Imprint” project. The total duration of the game is several hours, and the focus groups show that the game is extremely fun and educational for children.
